almost real. - We Never Said It Out Loud

I'm not sad, I'm furious at you and me and all of this.
We were supposed to be the ones who told the truth when it got hot,
But we just smiled and played along until you couldn't hold on.
We never said it out loud,
Never broke through the wall we built.
I saw the cracks, I felt the weight, but I just waited.
God, I waited.
