Spalexma - Out of the Mud

I was lying face down in the dirt,
Every promise I believed had turned to hurt.
I thought the Father forgotten my name,
But He reached through the darkness and the shame.
When I had nothing left to give, He showed me how to live.
He pulled me out of the mud, washed me clean with His blood,
Gave me breath when I was done, turned my midnight into sun.
