Shifty Brent - Your Blue Umbrella

A crescent in the tea; I turn it by the handle the way you asked of me.
Stay a little in this room,
Let the quiet take its time; there's a place beside my shoulder where your hand still fits in mine.
The clock above the hallway has lost a minute's heart; I could go and wind it,
But I can't make mornings start.
Stay a little in this room,
Let the quiet take its time; there's a place beside my shoulder where your hand still fits in mine.
